The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce introduces Mayor Jimmy Delshad to kick off the evening’s festivities. Guests will be provided with unlimited food and drink from renowned Beverly Hills restaurants and chefs.

They'll discuss (and Block will sign) “Weetzie Bat” and a number of her most recent books, including “Pretty Dead,” “How to (un)Cage a Girl,” and “The Frenzy.” Wind writes the award-winning daily blog, “I’m Here. I’m Queer. What the Hell do I Read?” for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Teens and their Allies.

Their new exhibit tells the story of how the City of Beverly Hills evolved from a regoin where the peaceful Gabrielino Indians lived until Spain, Mexico and then the Unitied States governed. Prior to becoming a city, the region had different land usage, different owners and different names before becoming the City of Beverly Hills. (free parking for entry after 5pm)

Any Ever is the American premiere of the artist Ryan Trecartin's (b. 1981, Webster, Tex.) 2007-10 body of work, produced in Miami with collaborator Lizzie Fitch and contributors ranging from friends and artists to working child actors. The entire exhibition space will be devoted to the non-sequential series of seven movies, which are structurally conceived as a diptych consisting of a trilogy, Trill-ogy Comp (2009), and a quartet, Re'Search Wait'S (2009-10).
