This one day conference created by Brentwood School girls for young women everywhere, will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 and will include keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and a special musical performance. Get ready for one of the largest Chinese New Year celebrations in the country as Los Angeles Chinatown kicks off the Year of the Dragon in a big way. Enjoy hundreds of spectacular floats, decked out cars, dancers and bands as they parade down the heart of Chinatown. The Lunar New Year Festival commences after the parade with cultural performances by some of the nation’s best Chinese acts. Enjoy one or several cultural workshops and sample the many gourmet food trucks at the event. Wildly popular Cupcake Wars will be on hand with 1000 Chinese New Year themed cupcakes for attendees to enjoy. The Chinese New Year Festival is free and open to all ages.

The Adult 7-on-7 Soccer League plays Sunday mornings at Beverly Hills High School. Both men’s and coed divisions are being offered. The regular season will consist of a 10 game season, followed by a single elimination playoff for the top (4) teams. League fees are $360 for Beverly Hills Resident Teams and $400 for Beverly Hills Business Teams. Referee fees are an additional $15 per game per team, to be paid each week at the field.
