The American Association of Retired Persons (A.A.R.P.) in cooperation with the IRS will sponsor a free Tax-Aide service for all middle and low income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 years and older. The program begins Wednesday, February 1st and continues through Friday, April 13, 2012. Sessions will be held each Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 1- 4 p.m. at Roxbury Park Community Center, located at 471 S. Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. Appointments are required and will be made on a first-come first-serve basis. So don’t be left-out – reserve your spot today.
Administered by IRS trained and certified volunteer tax counselors, the Tax-Aide program will provide confidential assistance in preparing Federal and State tax forms, and answers to your tax questions.
To participate in this program, the following information & documents MUST be brought to your appointment:
• Proof of identity
• Copies of your 2010 income tax returns
• Social security numbers or individual tax identification numbers for all persons listed on the tax return.
• W2’s, 1098, and 1099 forms from banks, savings & loans, pension funds, stocks, bonds, mutual funds and any other evidence of income
• Care provider’s identification number
• Banking information (voided checks and/or savings deposit slips) for refund deposits.
