Leonard H. Goldenson, for whom the Paley Center in Los Angeles building is named, established ABC as a leading television network and was responsible for many first in television history.
You will learn about some of the important moments in ABC and television’s history, including: how the network grew out of the Paramount theater system; the historic deal with Walt Disney; the firsts, like ABC’s Wide World of Sports and the ground-breaking miniseries Roots, and more, all under the leadership of Leonard H. Goldenson.
