Have a blast this summer! The City of Beverly Hills has 18 different camps to choose from in 2012, including brand new Jr. Firefighting, AK Soccer Academy, Ninja and Skateboard/Scooter camps along with all returning favorites like Catskills West, Planet Bravo and Camp Beverly Hills. Registration is now open for all camps.

The Beverly Hills Junior Fire Fighting Camp for 10-15 year olds (July 16-20) will be held at the main fire station and staffed by real Beverly Hills firefighters. Campers will have an opportunity to participate in a hose agility test, search and rescue exercises, basic medical operations and much more.

The Skateboard and Scooter Camp for 6-13 year olds (June 25 - 29) will transform the Roxbury Park basketball courts into an exciting skate park staffed by world-famous Skatedogs. Campers will hone technique while also learning tricks and vital safety information. Catering to a younger crowd, the Young Ninjas USA camp for 5-8 year olds (July 2 – July 6) will focus on imaginative play and  martial arts skills.

The rest of the bursting-at-the-seams summer roster includes: the popular Engineering FUNdamentals with LEGO; creative camps including SmART Space and Creative Space; and sports camps including soccer, aquatics, basketball, tennis, the iPlay Sports Academy and cheerleading. Technical camps include Destination Science and the popular Camp Kitchen Kid in which kids take part in hands-on  learning about cooking, entrepreneurship and healthy eating and then create a restaurant to share their delicious creations with arents.

The innovative PlanetBravo’s Techno-tainment Camp for 7-15 year olds returns for its tenth summer, offering campers the chance to make their own iPhone and iPad video games, learn to create special effects and experiment with Vex robots.

The venerable and beloved Catskills West camp returns to Greystone Park and this year the campers will be performing Oklahoma and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.  Of course, there?s always Camp Beverly Hills, which runs all summer long at La Cienega Park and has campers participating in sports, arts and crafts, party Fridays and much more.  Registration for Camp Beverly Hills is for the whole summer or by the week.
